The primary objective of the PONT Info - Economic Expert of Local Self - Government program is a comparative analysis of the economic and financial condition of local self-government units (communities (gminas), counties (powiats), provinces (voivodships)), which provides an evaluation of the municipality's credit capacity and an estimate of the credit risk incurred by a bank. It also offers the possibility of ranking local self-government units (JSTs) with regard to credit risk incurred by the bank, i.e. ranking JSTs from the highest to the lowest credit risk.

The software offers one of the possible risk assessment scenarios as the default setting. A user may adjust it to his needs, changing it temporarily or permanently. Credit risk assessments can be made according to multiple scenarios, as required by the User.
